Programs

Innovation Station offers hands-on STEM experiences designed to engage creators through building and high-energy competition. Our programs are structured, flexible, and built to support both fun and learning. Whether builders are joining a session, workshop, or event, every experience encourages problem-solving, confidence, and teamwork through the engineering design process.

STEM Sessions

Our core STEM Sessions are 90-minute experiences where creators design, build, and compete with their own Create-O-Bots. Each session includes 60 minutes of building and 30 minutes of guided battle time. Creators work with hands-on materials and a remote-controlled base to engineer something completely unique, then test their ideas through structured competition.

Workshops

Innovation Station workshops are flexible 2–3 hour experiences ideal for community spaces, special events, and educational enrichment. Workshops can be tailored to your group and are designed to introduce creators to engineering design, force and motion, and hands-on problem-solving.

Community Events

Our community events are designed for larger groups and interactive engagement. These experiences bring hands-on STEM excitement to family nights, community centers, and special programs. Event formats can include group build challenges, Create-O-Bot demonstrations, and interactive battle experiences.

What is a Create-O-Bot?

A Create-O-Bot is a custom-built structure designed and constructed on top of a remote-controlled vehicle. Creators use a structured shell and a variety of lightweight materials to engineer creative solutions that can pop balloons, knock out targets, and more. Each Create-O-Bot is unique, encouraging out-of-the-box creativity and experimentation.

What Creators Learn

Innovation Station is more than a fun activity — it is a hands-on STEM experience that helps builders develop real-world skills. Creators practice problem-solving, critical thinking, collaboration, and resilience through testing and improvement. Sessions also connect to physical science concepts such as force, motion, stability, and design.

The Engineering Design Process

Every Innovation Station experience is built around the engineering design process. Creators: Ask, Imagine, Plan, Create, and Test and Improve. This process helps builders think like engineers while learning that experimentation, adjustment, and persistence are all part of success.
